Describe your most memorable experience working in the car business: Many years back, the first used car I had ever delivered was a Nissan Maxima to a Czech couple. They had a tenuous grasp of the english language, as well as for our highway traffic laws. The test drive was terrifying. I was not sure which was worse, the speed at which they were driving or the blatent disregard for traffic signals. When they arrived to pick up the car, in very broken english they tried to explain to me that they needed to "toast" their purchase with me. So we went down to the car, and they proceeded to spread an ornamental towel out across the trunk lid and set out shot glasses and a bottle of brandy. We spent an hour doing "toasts" to whatever was holy, and I think I learned to speak czech that day. Let's just say I had to go home early that day."What a great business" I thought.List your favorite hobbies or recreational pastimes: Skiing, snowshoeing, biking, kayaking
What do you enjoy the most about your hobby or pastime? I recently went back to skiing after 20 years, and I was delighted to find I can still "tear it".

Describe your most memorable experience working in the car business: I drove to a customer's house to deliver a new pickup. We took a SUV in trade and three piglets. The salesperson and I put the piglets in the back of the SUV and brought them back to the dealership. We sold the piglets for $75 each

Describe your most memorable experience working in the car business: Selling an FJ Cruiser on eBay to a businessman in Panama and shipping that car to him. Upon delivery, he referred his friend who then flew to Burlington, Vermont and bought one for himself. The friend flew back to Panama and I had it shipped for him. After he received his FJ Cruiser he then referred me to another friend living in Colorado to whom I also sold and delivered a car. I shipped his too!

What do you enjoy the most about your hobby or pastime? I enjoy all of my hobbies and pastimes because of the solace and independence they bring me

Additional information: I own a NYS licensed massage therapy practice where I employ eight independant contractors. I opened my business in December of 2002. It was easilly the scariest thing I've ever done. But I am very proud of my office. It is not only a beatiful space but I have a great group of people who work for me. They provide exceptional service to our clients. I am the mother of two children, Colin is 26 and Haley is 24, of whom I am exceptionally proud. They are great kids with great attitudes towards life. I have been married for 30 years to a man I fell in love with at 15. How lucky am I!
